Improving Learning, Adherence, and Efficiency in Speech Therapy with a Smartphone/Tablet Application Service
As the Principal Investigator, I was awarded an NIH grant to develop an innovative smartphone application designed to enhance learning, adherence, and efficiency in speech therapy. This project addressed a critical need for personalized, monitored home practice, combining my expertise in speech-language pathology with cutting-edge principles of motor learning. In collaboration with an education software developer, I designed a platform to integrate patient and clinician profiles, enabling customized therapy plans and real-time feedback.
